Lions at the camp's waterhole

The last couple of weeks we witnessed a lot of lion activity around Parsons Hilltop. Many evenings we heard their notorious and absolutely breathtaking roars very close. By the means of our only recently set up camera trap we managed to confirm their close proximity and got some astonishing footage of them quenching their thirst at the camp's waterhole. As we are now entering the dry season many water sources dry out completly, leaving only a few watering points left, where water-dependent animals can drink. Because of the lack of drinking alternatives these waterholes become very productive for sightings, as they attract many thursty animals. The wildlife activity at the camp's waterhole can be watched comfortably from the deck of the lodge.
